My Story

How it all started...

He was born the son of Roy Richard Logan and Ada Helan Lillethum Logan on April 13, 1932, in Bismarck, ND.

At a young age, he moved to Los Angeles, CA, where he graduated from high school. In 1952 he enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Sioux Saint Marie, MI as an x-ray and lab technician, where he met his future wife, Marguerite of 62 years. On the night of their engagement, they dedicated their life to serving the Lord. After his service in the army he returned to Los Angeles, CA, to enroll at Biola, where he earned a degree in Pastoral Studies. He began his pastoral ministry in Aiden, CA, followed by churches in Tacoma, WA, Granite Falls, WA, and Broken Bow, NE. His ministry included serving as the Chaplain and Bible Professor at Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, MO, and as Vice-President of the Child Evangelism Fellowship in Warrington, MO.

Creating  Biblical Restoration Ministries...

In 1989 they eventually settled in Sioux City, IA, where he founded Biblical Restoration Ministries and ministered as a Biblical Counselor. While in Sioux City he created the International Ministerial Institute (IMI) in Texas to educate men on becoming pastors. In his years of ministry, he spoke to hundreds of thousands worldwide on spiritual warfare and prayer. He authored Reclaiming Surrendered Ground, a best seller from Moody Bible Institute, translated into Spanish, Nepali, Russian, Tamil, and Ukrainian. His ministry continued through online videos viewed worldwide (jimlogan.org), reaching millions over the past years, and will remain available indefinitely.
